I grew up in Shreveport, LA, until I moved to Austin, TX, after high school when I was 18 and lived there for two years. I then moved to New Orleans, so that I could enroll into college at the University of New Orleans, because they had a very good film program which has always been something I've been very interested in. I graduated with a BA in Film, Theater, and Communication Arts at UNO, and before I even first enrolled, and the whole time I was in school, New Orleans had become the "Hollywood of the South,' so that was a bonus. I started to work entry-level jobs on various sets of productions towards the end of my senior year and almost a year after graduating. But Louisiana lost this tax cut, which was the main reason there were so many companies coming there, to make whatever project they had, because they could make it there completely tax free, and once that went away, so did all the jobs. So, I recently moved back to Shreveport to take the time to work on my own personal passion projects. I'm an aspiring writer and filmmaker. I'm currently working on a short film I wrote to submit to all the film festivals in 2018. I probably love to write more than anything, rather it's screenplays, poetry, short stories, or just random dribble. I would soon like to make my way to being a well established name in both industries, as a published writer, and filmmaker.
